Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first appearances were on TV in the role of Jackie Harris, a character who was played by her mom in the ABC show Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to perform by her parents until she reached old age, due to the strain it might cause. Perry confessed that she wasn't happy in school However, she started acting as a means to meet new students at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, relocated to New York in search of acting roles on television. Perry was able to land small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness brought her back to California to pursue theater opportunities. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. Her father was also in the production. Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. She had a regular role for the ABC Drama about politics Scandal with her dad. She was also cast in her role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. She was cast in the part despite having a close relationship with the character's family.
