Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was inspired from her childhood in a New York family of artists. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
